Hotel entrance to Volcano Bay! We only stayed one night to be close to Volcano Bay. Super clean, fun and staff were very friendly.

Needs some renovations (headboards, light fixtures aging, walls chipped) We liked the proximity to Universal Parks but also the cafeteria format for dining was quick, easy, and met most food options in one run. The Loews staff was exceptional.
Didn't like: Our rooms had been very abused. We stayed in same hotel perhaps 2 years ago when property was newer so now we see the decline. Headboards were cracked and particles fell behind bed. This doesnt make one want to sit up in bed and relax. Going through hallways in building 5, so much damage on walls likely from families hitting walls w the bell man carts. The light fixtures in rooms were tilted and the plastic discolored. The turquoise bedding was fading irregularly so out of 4 beds in 2 rooms, nothing matched. I feel Booking dot com caused us to be in older “broken” rooms which I dont appreciate. I never saw a discount compared to buying via Univeral app a couple more weeks out.

Will definitely stay here again! Fantastic place to stay! Really convenient location, shuttles run between the hotel and parks continuously, two pools and the lazy river keep the areas from feeling crowded, hot tub is amazing, lots of food choices.
Didn't like: I have zero complaints.
