Even the location is perfect, I can't recommend this hotel. Location is perfect. There's a cafe downstairs.

Didn't like: There was just a mattress on the floor that was too soft, you can't really call that a bed. There was no table or chair in the room, and there weren't hand towels either. It's hard to get in touch with the staff, I sent a message via Booking before my trip, but didn't get a reply.

ok The minimalist style and simplicity of the room

Didn't like: The cleanliness of the corridor leading to the room. It looked like there had been a war with all the spills, and by the waste laying down there, smokers likely used the fire exit to go smoking.

Fair.

Didn't like: On the most crucial business day of my stay, the door leading from the rooms to the elevators would not open and I was unable to exit for approximately 30 minutes. Despite several guests who were exiting from the opposite side of the lift passage way reporting this to reception on their way out, absolutely nothing was done about it. Eventually another guest on my side of the hotel came out of their room and was able to locate another exit. I tried calling the telephone number and sending a Whatsapp but there was no response. Not only did this present a major hazard, it impacted my working day severely.

Don’t stay here The location was central. Easy to take transport.

Didn't like: stayed at Zedwell Piccadilly Circus in London from September 16–23, 2026, with my family. We paid approximately CAD $2,200 for seven nights, and unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. First, the room configuration was not what we had booked. On top of that, there was ongoing construction and renovation noise that had not been disclosed to us before our arrival. Had we known about the construction, we would have reconsidered staying at this property. The problems did not stop there. We experienced issues with the air conditioning, an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, and a stained mattress. We were eventually moved to another room, but the noise continued, making it difficult to rest and enjoy our vacation. What made this experience particularly frustrating was how management handled our concerns. Rather than feeling heard and supported as paying guests, we felt dismissed. The way our concerns were addressed was unprofessional and left us feeling that customer satisfaction was not a priority. We travelled to London to enjoy a family vacation, not to spend our time dealing with hotel problems. The lack of proper rest and ongoing disruptions affected our experience significantly. After our stay, I contacted Booking.com to request a full refund and provided details of what happened, including photographic evidence. Booking.com informed me that they had attempted to negotiate with the property but were unable to reach an agreement. Instead of a refund, I was offered £136.48 in travel credits, which I found completely inadequate given the amount we paid and the issues we experienced. I understand that problems can happen at any hotel. However, what matters most is how those problems are handled. In this case, I felt there was a complete lack of accountability.
