Reviews
Review highlights
- Cleanliness4.5/10
- Several guests report poor pool maintenance and 'dense'/unclean pool water; cleanliness around pools is a notable negative.
- Service5.0/10
- Mixed but leaning negative: guests mention lack of attention for anniversary requests, no help with luggage, unresponsive reservation chat and poor frontline assistance.
- Location9.0/10
- Positive comments about views, beach and general setting; some access issues (taxi/Uber restrictions) but overall location and scenery are strengths.
- Room Quality8.0/10
- Guests praise the room comfort and hotel infrastructure; rooms and pools are highlighted as positives in multiple reviews.
- Amenities5.5/10
- Variety of venues available is noted positively, but practical amenities are lacking (no umbrellas/shade, limited bar/club hours, missing basic items like toothbrush when requested).
- Value for Money6.7/10
- Mixed perception: some enjoyed past experiences but current closures/extra charges (e.g., for missed restaurant reservations) and service gaps reduce perceived value.
- Food and Beverage4.5/10
- Several reports of poor buffet quality and bad cocktails, though a few guests praised specific meals; overall F&B sentiment is negative.

Resort was beautiful and well maintained. Food options were great. Beds and free drinks not good. Food and staff were excellent. Pool and restaurant options.
Didn't like: Bed and Pillows were hard. not comfortable. free beer selection is the reason I wont go back. Dos equis is the bottom of the barrel. all free liquors also low end , and shows were not what we expected . Also the free chairs and lounge chairs for the beach did not exist. Very disappointed in that.

This place is not safe
Didn't like: Shortly after our arrival, my two friends and I were verbally harassed and threatened by another guest while we were at the pool. He also behaved in a sexually intimidating manner toward my female friend, making threatening gestures and suggestive facial expressions that made us fear for her safety. The lifeguard did nothing, and hotel management refused to help. Instead, the manager blamed us for allegedly provoking the aggressor simply by being at the pool, dismissed our concerns, and told us to avoid him. There was no security in the pool area or elsewhere at the hotel. The manager also claimed that the lifeguard was not employed by the hotel and that the pool area was federal property outside the hotel’s jurisdiction, suggesting that the hotel could only intervene if something happened inside the main building. This left us feeling completely unprotected. We contacted Booking.com to request alternative accommodation. Only after four hours of persistent calls and attempts to escalate the situation did the manager offer us a room at another hotel in the same chain, but with a significant downgrade from the room we had originally booked. The most disturbing part was not only the aggression itself, but the hotel’s complete failure to protect us, the manager’s victim-blaming attitude, and his unwillingness to take responsibility. I would not consider this a safe place to stay. I strongly advise other travelers to think carefully before booking here.

Concierge does not respect booking clients! The hotel facilities are great! Lots of experiences, shows and restaurants to enjoy. This was supposed to be my second stay at the hotel but, because of an issue with a random crazy drunk guy at the pool, me and my friends didn't even got to stay more than a couple of hours at the hotel.
Didn't like: I wish I knew the name of the concierge manager at the hotel on october 8th 2026 to namely refer to him on this.. he have no respect to booking customers and treat us like s**t! Me and my friends were verbally attacked by another guest in a very aggressive way, for absolutely NO REASON. He was clearly drunk and his wife kept apologizing. We looked for any kind of assistance from this concierge that since the first moment we talked was treating my with sarcasm and shirking from responsibility. We did what we could to show him this guest's behavior and his only responso to the issue was for us to "avoid" the guy.. so, WE should spent our whole weekend watching our backs, and the drunk aggressive guy... nothing to worry about... we asked for a refund so we could leave the hotel to have some peace and they refused, said they couldn't do ANYTHING for us and we had to solve it through Booking... so, after calling the authorities and spending more than 4 hours this manager finally saw a way out and reallocated us on another hotel of the Oasis chain and we ended up having a great and peaceful weekend as intended.

Overall good Good resort for the price
Didn't like: The food could be improved but for the price we paid for 2 people, you cant complain. Maybe some more night activities could be added there is nothing to do after 22h

A great week in Cancun - The pools were amazing. Very big and many different areas to go - The restaurants and food were great. Lots of variety and great quality. However you had to book a few days in advance for most of them through the app and they always seemed to be ‘full’, despite the hotel be fairly quiet - Great location right on the beach with good views
Didn't like: - We didn’t find the staff on the main reception that helpful. We booked and paid for 3 rooms with extra large double beds, but instead got 1 big bed and the other 2 rooms with 2 small double beds that weren’t really big enough for 2 people. We tried to change them multiple times but no one seemed to care or want to help. One guy actually said it wasn’t his responsibility! In my travel experience, when you book and pay for a room, that is what you get. The restaurant, bar and cleaning staff were all great though.

The resort is perfect and offers excellent value for money. A wonderful, all-around resort! The property is huge, offering a great sense of comfort and privacy, with an excellent variety of restaurants and a very large pool that adds to the amazing atmosphere. Everything about this resort makes it perfect for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Definitely an experience worth repeating!
Didn't like: the glass partition between the bathroom and the bedroom allows the bathroom light to shine into the room
