Amazing Well what truly makes something special isn't necessarily the location alone, it's the people who work hard to make it special. Diana (who we met at that sunset restaurant) was amazing, our little one was crying and she came over and was drawing pictures just for her and cheered her up. That was above and beyond helpful and really sweet. Andres (who worked at the beach front bar) did amazing drinks, super polite and respectful and even made fun drinks that weren't on the menu. 10/10 Martin (met at the Italian restaurant) he has terrific service and super fast on refilling waters. He definitely made our time at the restaurant really enjoyable. Miguel (we met him at the buffet multiple times) he always has a big smile on him, he's just enjoying his job and that attitude impacts everyone around him. He was an amazing server, helping our pregnant lady carry her plate and refilling water and drinks. To me, I think he was the most impactful person we met. Attitude can really make the atmosphere fun.

Didn't like: Well the only thing I didn't like is the amount of seaweed at the shore, which was still way better than the others around, but it was a lot.

The best birthday week ever! The food was amazing. We made reservations at all 3 available restaurants. Each one had a good choice of food and excellent service. If you asked for something to drink that they didnt have, they would go to one of the other restaurants to get it for you instead of just telling us no. For example, my nephew wanted chocolate milk. They went over to the buffet to get it (which we didnt realize they did until much later). The buffet was spectacular. Some staples there each meal, but changed it up daily. It was a great opportunity to try new things I wouldn't normally have tried elsewhere for fear of cost. For me, any buffet that has pancakes and bacon for breakfast gets 5 stars, but there was so much more. The rooms were exceptionally clean. We had a stocked fridge with water, soda, apple juice boxes and even beer. We were celebrating my 50th birthday there. The housekeeping staff decorated our room with a banner on the door, balloons all around the room, and towels wrapped up with ribbons in the shape of a birthday cake. The staff always acknowledged you when you passed no matter what they were doing. The complimentary sun punch at the entrance as well as the jamaica was outstanding. My niece and I got massages while there. It did cost extra, but totally worth it. We were in the same room together. The scents and ambiance automatically began to relax us. Then came the massage. We didnt want to leave. It rained a few days while we were there. The rainy day entertainment was fun. Even the entertainment during non rainy days (and nights) was fun. Most of it was in Spanish, but they did often times translate it as well. Even if you dont speak Spanish, you certainly could grasp what was going on. They were so energetic, it was contagious. We called maintenance because we couldn't get our shower hot. The water was coming out luke warm. He came up immediately. As it turns out, it was user error.

Didn't like: Sometimes the food labeling at the buffet wasn't so clear, so it was difficult to know what you were trying. You have to have a towel card to get a towel for the pool. They give you one per guest in the room. If you forget or loose the card, you cant get a towel. Also, you need to turn the cards in upon check out or you'll be charged for a towel. There were tons of pigeons and crows around the swimming area. If you left any food or drink unattended they would swarm it. There was a guy with a trained hawk that would have the hawk fly up to one of the balconies and then call it back to keep the birds away. It worked well, but he wasnt always there. They serve smoothies at the coffee bar, but not until after 12. I would have loved to have them with breakfast. The light to our ceiling fan kept randomly turning on. Once in the middle of the night. It scared us to death. We ended up just keeping the fan off altogether.

It was decent as we were there for our baby’s third birthday. Location.

Didn't like: Food, the responsiveness of the front desk staffs, Prices of baby items like toys, cake, even diapers are extremely high! Unfortunately, the place is all about $$$!!

I loved my stay and definitely coming back Sunscape has my heart!!! 🫶 It was so clean, serene and absolutely beautiful. The staffs were so friendly and helpful too. All inclusive options indeed with so much to eat, drink and every restaurant was a hit and so so delicious. I am definitely coming back because I loved it so much.

Didn't like: The sales and marketing of their other properties was a bit too much. Apart from that, everything else was perfect.

A nice way to end the holidays The children really enjoyed the lunchtime buffet; the pool activities; the ice-cream with sweets, and the silent disco. The staff were super courteous and friendly. We were made to feel welcome from arrival until we left. They encouraged everyone to partake in the activities, and they did it with smiling faces.

Didn't like: Lack of fresh juice. Activities such as the pool volleyball were a roaring success, and we felt that it could have been extended since most people were participating.
