This review is for Adhara Hacienda and not Express. When we reached Express, the hotel apparently was close, and we ended up staying at the sister company, which was great

Hotel Closed! The Adhara Express is closed down. It has been gutted of electrical goods and the pool emptied. If you book when you arrive you need to find the helpful security guard who gives you a letter. She the arranged transport to a sister hotel the Adhara Cancun who accommodate you. This hotel is very nice 9/10.
Didn't like: This hotel is still advertised on Booking.com as open! After a 10.5hr flight, a 40m transfer you arrive at a hotel closed up and by luck we managed to attract the attention of security guard. We received NO information about this situation. Poor.

The breakfast was really good at the menu including the staff. The location it was nice all the taxis know this hotel , its really close to the restaurant, public transportation.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff was so lovely and the breakfast was enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety. Items were also replenished quickly.
Didn't like: The pillows could be softer and more comfortable and the rooms also need mini refrigerators.

Review is for the adhara hacienda as express being refurbished - hotel is dated but breakfast excellent This review is for the adhara hacienda as the express was closed for refurbishment. We were not informed of this by booking.com before we arrived. The breakfast was excellent.

not the hotel or location advertised the pool was great
Didn't like: it was not at the location we booked. we were not notified about this at all until we arrived after paying for a taxi to the location. We booked this location so we could walk to things we wanted to go to. They then shuttle us to a different hotel which they said was an upgrade, but it was far away from where we wanted to walk so we had to end up paying for more taxis during our stay. The room was not as nice at the new hotel as the room looked at the one we had initially booked, they would not let us get a refund, even though it literally was not the hotel or the Location location we booked.

Horrible Breakfast Buffet
Didn't like: This Hotel was closed. Booking is not aware. Once I arrived I was took to a sister hotel . The AC went out in this hotel and the sister company AC is going out. I had a dentist Appointment. Only stayed Two days but NEVER again. The staff was rude about the accommodations in regarding the AC. Booking should be aware. I was NEVER offered a Refund but just relocated to the sister Hotel that is having AC issues.
