Reviews
Review highlights
- Cleanliness7.8/10
- Multiple reviews explicitly note rooms and the rooftop onsen as clean; no major cleanliness complaints.
- Service7.6/10
- Staff frequently described as kind and helpful at check-in, but several mentions of limited English and some chaotic reception operations lower the score slightly.
- Location8.6/10
- Consistently praised as an excellent, central Shinjuku location — convenient for shopping, dining and transit; a few notes about street noise at night did not outweigh the positives.
- Room Quality5.8/10
- Many reviews call the rooms 'very small' with limited space for luggage and some AC control issues; this is the clearest negative theme across reviews.
- Amenities7.8/10
- Rooftop onsen and large spa are repeatedly praised; some minor issues noted (vending machine out of order, clothes dryer performance) but overall amenities are a strong point.
- Value for Money8.0/10
- Several guests explicitly state the hotel is very good value for the price, making value one of the stronger positives.
- Food and Beverage7.7/10
- Breakfast is described positively by at least one guest ('typical breakfast is incredible'); otherwise limited mentions of F&B, so set near the target rating.

Great Location Great location very close to shopping and train station .
Didn't like: I like to go out for early morning walks the general area was full of rubbish and people still out from the night before

An enjoyable 10 days in a quieter area with everything I needed Location was excellent, at the edge of Kabukicho without the crowds, easy access to the locations I wanted, a konbini within a minute with ATM that made cash easy accessible. It was quiet, the staff was attentive, and their checkout/luggage storage was excellent. There was always a security guard in the lobby greeting me as I entered or left. U.S. travelers expecting massive room with wasted space, please note, that business hotels have smaller rooms, they aren't designed for lounging, you sleep there. You can find larger rooms but expect to pay for them.
Didn't like: No complaints. U.S. travelers should plan on smaller rooms in Japan, or feel free to pay for the extra space. This hotel had everything I wanted or needed.

Wouldn't pick them again and wouldn't recommend if you have other options. The location was great.
Didn't like: The room was too small. The bed of 150 cm width cannot be counted as a double bed. The window couldn't be opened and ventilation was disabled. There was no fresh air in the room. We started getting headaches after two days and avoid spending time in the room. The staff claimed that we cannot do the room upgrade as they are too busy.

It was run down and needs work. The staff were lovely and very helpful. It was close to golden gai and other attractions
Didn't like: The room was in terrible shape. Mildew/mold on the walls.

Great Location, Clean Room, but a Few Disappointments Pros: The location was great, with plenty of action, restaurants, and food options nearby. The room was also very clean, which we appreciated.
Didn't like: Cons: We expected the train to be closer, but it turned out to be farther away than we anticipated. The bathroom floor setup was also uncomfortable and difficult to land flat footed softly and quietly, especially during nighttime visits. Getting a taxi was often a bit of a hassle because taxis could not pull up directly to the hotel entrance. Instead, we had to arrange pickups along the side of the building, which was inconvenient.
