The location is superb - just next to the train station and next to a big park with a pond. Book a room with park & lake view! Even slept with open window and just heard frogs at night, no city noise. The rooms are cosy and tiny, with everything you might need. There are water dispensers hot & cold on each floor. Japanese style breakfast is good.

A really convenient and practical hotel if you’re traveling on the Keisei line. Really convenient if you’re coming to Tokyo on the Keisei line into Ueno. It’s just across the road from the station. The rooms are small but very clean with everything you need The staff are so helpful. Just a few metres to Ueno Park and the attractions of Ueno.

Modern, quiet, and a great location with a park and lake view Excellent location with a rare view of the lake and park unlike most small room hotels in Tokyo (with the upgraded room). Excellent location near Ueno Station and the Keisei. Exceptionally quiet which is wonderful. Rooms are extremely small like many single occupant Japanese hotel rooms, however clean and modern. The A/C is centrally controlled by the hotel, although you can adjust it within the room (this could be an issue in hot summer months). The price was very high for the room when I stayed - more than double what it is at other times of the year - so it was a high priced compared to what we payed in other Japanese cities for much larger rooms.
Didn't like: The room was very small - but it was modern, clean, with comfortable linens and accessories. This is also to be expected in this type of Japanese hotel.

Nice environment, bad smelling room, not worth the high price. The environment was nice, close at the park.
Didn't like: Our room smelled like smoke. I asked the staff to look at the room, they replaced the curtains, but the room was still smelling pretty bad.

Overall, it has been a pleasant stay. Superb location which is just opposite the Keisei Skyliner station. Great for travellers who need easy and speedy access to Narita airport. Proximity to Ueno station makes travel to other parts of Tokyo easy.
Didn't like: Room size is too small. Hotel has a luggage weighing scale at the lobby which i find very useful. Hotel lobby, breakfast place are all very small.
