Hotel Monreale Inn & Studios I-Drive Icon Park Orlando

I do not recommend for a stay on this place, there are alot other places to stay around that also is in good location an Great location walking distance to Icon Park

Didn't like: Unfriendly front desk staff!!! too small pillows and too thin blanket, A/C very noisy

International Drive stay October. Good size room. Looked newly renovated. Decent size pool. Great location right close to icon park and all the bars restaurants. Free coffee in reception.

Didn't like: The only thing was the air con is a little bit noisy but worked well + we were on the freeway side of the hotel. However it wasn't too bad and didn't affect our stay. Only 1 shuttle time each day early and late back.

The property was close to Universal which was a bonus but there were some areas that were lacking about the actual quality of the room and staff. The area itself is very nice with access to the pool, however, the towels had stains on them, there was toothpaste on the bathroom sink handle, i also found a hair within the bedsheets which leads me to believe they might've not been changed. I called the hotel 1 day prior AND day of to secure early check in, in which they approved and said that i can come early (1:30pm). However, when i arrived i was told 5 more minutes until the room was done... then 10 more minutes... and so on. I wasn't able to check into the room until after 2:30pm, therefore giving us false hope for early check in. There was another incident in which they only provided us with 1 face towel for two people, and said that it would be 25 minutes until we could get more. We did not get them at all that day. We came back at about 12am and asked for 4 wash cloths, they only gave us 3 for whatever reason (no explanation). The day after, i came across a woman doing room service and asked her if she could collect our used towels and garbage because it was piling up, all she responded with was "No" very firmly which i found to be rude and pf bad service. I then called the front desk to ask and they said they would let someone know, which eventually while we were gone, room service cleaned the whole room. Also to mention, millipedes do come into the room through a small crack in the door which we had to get up and kill each morning/throughout the day but it's Florida so i wasn't entirely concerned about that.

Strategic based on budget and quality Location and rooms

Didn't like: The breakfast is expensive and not that good and I was not able to see streaming platforms on the TVs. Only national channels

It only has a good location; otherwise, it's not a good option. Location

Didn't like: The room was extremely noisy, the air conditioning was off and had a characteristic smell, and the air conditioning filter was dirty.

2nd time a charm Location, location, location!!! We trabel to ORL every year. I must say, I lodged here same period in 2024, our experience then was not pleasant at all! This year I took a peak and saw major renovations were done, thus I decided to take a chance. So glad I did! Our stay this time was GREAT!!! Staff was this time more welcoming! (Most were there in 2024 too!) We are booking there again for next year!!! Beds were comfortable. AC was good! Room was clean, and with the remodeling, you have more space in shower and facebasin area. Pool was kept clean.

Didn't like: Room missing some hooks to hang towels.

Didn't like: The only thing I didn’t like was no hand soap in bathrooms and the floor didn’t seem the cleanest, didn’t seem to have been mopped
