It’s was ok, definitely not worth the price you asked for one night Staff was very nice and friendly. Not too bad of a walk to some locations in NYC. Bed was comfy, love the automatic window shades. Nice kitchen set up.

Didn't like: In a weird part of NYC, drug dealers outside the hotel. It smells of weed. The door of our hotel room had a hard time shutting. The shower was not clean for us.

Beautiful hotel. Easy access to Times Square.

Didn't like: $250 dollar bond they don't tell you about before you check in and 3 days to get it back.

convenient location

Didn't like: very noise aircon, elevators management(stops every floor), the whole hotel badly needs a full refurbishment including the rooms.

A good property for our needs. 2 adults and 4 teens staying in 2 rooms. The staff was helpful and friendly. They had decent food for breakfast and the staff was great. We found the location within walking distance to many things.

Didn't like: It is a very busy hotel on the weekends. There can be a wait for elevators and the lobby can get crowded.

Stay is ok, but there can be room for improvement Surprised that the unit is complete. It is like a mini service apartment.

Didn't like: We didn't have in-room slippers. The shower can be updated and it would be nice if there is bidet. The bed is a little too soft, the pillows needs a little more update.

AVOID THIS HOTEL AVOID THIS HOTEL.

Didn't like: * Check-in / check-out: Expect at least 30 minutes of waiting. * Staff: RUDE. They act like helping guests is an inconvenience. Zero interest in actually solving anything. A receptionist named GEO was particularly rude and was honestly one of the worst interactions I had during my entire trip to New York. * Elevators: 40 floors of rooms. Three elevators. During peak hours, a nightmare. * Location: In my opinion, one of the worst areas in NYC to stay. I would absolutely not recommend it unless you have a specific reason to be in this area. I did not feel safe walking around there, day or night. * Breakfast: A tiny room for a hotel with 40 floors of guests. They serve breakfast with disposable plates and cutlery. * Cleanliness: We arrived at the room to find a ball of hair on the floor. * Bathroom: The shower had no proper separation from the bathroom floor: just a plastic shower curtain. The shower head holder was broken and kept falling down. The water flow was also terrible. * Fridge: The fridge made a loud clicking/banging noise every 30 minutes throughout the night and kept waking me up. They couldn’t fix it, so I had to leave it unplugged for the entire stay. * Terrace: The terrace was closed during our stay, and this was never mentioned to us beforehand. The only thing we were notified about was the construction on the building’s facade, NOT the terrace And honestly, I could keep going. I’m not a picky person, I don’t have particularly high expectations, and I rarely leave negative reviews. But this hotel was genuinely one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. Marriott made a huge mistake by putting its name behind this hotel. This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience of my entire trip.

Nice hotel, kitchenette helped, would stay again! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine. No complaints at all. Definitely have to get there early or it gets really crowded. Room was small but had everything we needed. Kitchenette was a bonus.

Didn't like: Only thing was the shower floor was not pitched towards the drain... Oops! So we were kind of standing in water while showering. Water pressure could be a bit better. No biggie.

We enjoyed our stay at the element bc GEO our stafff attendent, was so awesome The food was not very good on the hot side. The cold food was good. We likes our room alot. We enjoyed having a suite as well. The main reason i will leave good reviews bc of the staff, GEO was his name. Geo was very pleasant with my extras like pillows, blankets and info knowledge. Thanks, and give GEO a gold star please, he deserves alot for putting up with me 😁

Didn't like: Breakfast hots to be HOT "!!! Cold pancakes and eggs are not tasty.
