Good location. Brilliant staff. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.
Didn't like: Rooms were small (which isn’t surprising given the location). Pillows were uncomfortable. (Lumpy) If I had booked direct instead of using a third party I would have had a better choice.

The location was ideal, just around corner from the underground. Area was high class.
Didn't like: I was offered an upgrade to twin beds but no twin beds were available on check in.

Disappointing The location and breakfast was good
Didn't like: We paid for a room with two single beds as it was me and mum. When checking in we were told that the room wasn’t available and there was a room with one bed. Also, the lady on reception said she would give us another duvet, which she didn’t. Also the booking never mentioned parking was £45 for one night!

Had a problem with the room as the maintenance team worked on the room right above us starting at 9:00am and had to change rooms

Didn't like: Phone in room was not working despite being flagged up, was not a major issue. Room on the smaller size

Nice bed, shame about the bath/shower Great position near Kensington High Street and there was a nice buzz in the public areas of the hotel. The room was generally clean, if a little jaded, and the bed was comfortable.
Didn't like: Supposed ‘King’ room was barely big enough to swing a cat, and we were refused a partial refund after being unable to use the bath/shower when we found dried spatter marks in the bath in the morning. We hadn’t used it at all the evening before when it was spotless. The marks appeared to be dried blood (or something worse!), but the maintenance man assured us it was rust from the old iron plumbing that must have been pushed up by an overflow into the bath overnight. When we looked under the drain cover there was also something that looked disgustingly organic. My request for a partial refund on the room price was refused and I was offered a discount rate for a stay in an IHG hotel before 31 December, which is absolutely no use to me. I’ve stayed in many Holiday Inns, but I will be avoiding them from now on.
