Great location. Hotel facilities will not surprise you, it will do for a good night sleep to go out and about. The location was excellent and at that price point.
Didn't like: I understand part of the Hotel was in renovations, they only had one lift working which made it impossible to get a ride. Had to take de stairs most of the time, and besides my floor (which was fully renovated) the rest of the building looks so old and weird. The staff were as nice as they could. When i made my reservation through Booking, I payer for breakfast but when I checked in they said I didn’t. I wasn’t gonna fight the restaurant level didn’t even look attractive, so I didn’t care. The floors have a weird smell that would get inside my room, I found the smells very uncomfortable. The Bathroom looked nice, but the shower door is useless, my entire floor would always get wet. I strongly suggest they disc that.

Great location, great value for money and freshly renovated Hotel is in a really great location, just a few minutes walk from the Underground and Hyde Park. It’s been recently renovated, so everything feels fresh and new. Front office team was very kind and welcoming.
Didn't like: I wouldn’t say there was anything I particularly disliked, but there are a few small things that could be improved. Towels provided in the room were quite small and very thin, so I would definitely suggest upgrading their quality. There were also no facial tissues in the room. I didn’t personally need to store my luggage, however, I noticed a sign at reception stating that luggage storage is chargeable. Considering the hotel’s positioning and room rates, I feel that charging guests to leave their luggage before check-in or after check-out slightly cheapens the overall experience. Complimentary luggage storage would feel much more appropriate, which is normal practice in all the hotels I’ve been in my life. These are all relatively minor points and are simply suggestions for the management. The only significant issue during my stay was the level of noise from the housekeeping team early in the morning. housekeepers were chatting loudly with each other in the corridor while working, alongside frequent door slamming and vacuuming, overall noise level was honestly unbearable and made it very difficult to rest. I completely understand that housekeeping needs to work in the morning, but I believe more consideration should be given to guests who may still be sleeping.

Constant construction noise, disrespectful housekeeping, and repeated issues with our key cards made
Didn't like: I have traveled extensively and stayed in many hotels around the world, but this is honestly one of the worst places I have ever stayed. First of all, the hotel’s pictures are extremely misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of the rooms. The first room we were shown was filthy, damaged, and had a disgusting, overpowering chemical smell that seemed to be an attempt to cover up the smell of dampness and mold. On top of that, the room had absolutely no windows. We ended up asking to see SIX different rooms because every single one had serious issues, whether it was dirt, a broken bed, damaged furniture, or something else. In the end, we were basically forced to pay extra for an upgrade just to get a room that was reasonably clean and didn’t have broken furniture. That is completely unacceptable, as basic cleanliness and functional furniture should be the bare minimum, not something you have to pay extra for. To make matters worse, there was extremely loud construction noise every single morning starting around 7:30–8:00 AM. The workers were literally working right outside our window, making it impossible to sleep or relax. The housekeeping staff were another major issue. Despite us clearly putting the “Do Not Disturb” sign on our door because we wanted to sleep in, they entered our room EVERY SINGLE DAY, claiming they needed to clean. As a result, we were woken up almost every morning between 9 and 10 AM. What is the point of having a “Do Not Disturb” sign if the staff completely ignore it? On one occasion, housekeeping even entered our room and told us we needed to check out, despite the fact that we still had TWO nights left on our reservation. The lack of communication and organization was honestly unbelievable. As if all of this wasn’t enough, our room key cards stopped working on two separate occasions. Both times, we were completely locked out of our room and had to get the cards replaced just to be able to get back inside.
