Great building, great location, terrible condition Location & entrance hall. Nice staff

Didn't like: It’s falling apart and needs a full refurb. It’s seriously tired, sadly I cannot recommend it.

Locations great for tubes restaurants supermarkets and the park. We love the property we have stayed a few times now.

Didn't like: Sadly this wasn’t our best stay we had such a small room we could just walk round the bed, my husband’s bad on his legs so it wasn’t great, I did ask if it was possible to move but we got told no because the hotel was full…that I do understand) the breakfast would have been lovely but all 4 mornings it was cold and I don’t like cold beans. The staff was lovely and very helpful if I was to come again we would defo need a larger room.

Great location Great location, across from Hyde Park, very close to tube stations. Area felt safe. Lovely restaurants nearby. Had a lovely old style manor feel to the place. Staff were pleasant. This is the perfect spot if you are exploring London and just need a bed at the end of the day. It was good value for money for the great location. Despite the minor flaws with the room, I would stay again.

Didn't like: The bedroom was small, even for a standard double. The handrail in the bathroom was loose from the wall and the bath was high so felt a little unstable getting in and out of the shower. Not sure how an elderly person or someone with limited mobility would manage it. The shower screen was way too small which left water all over the floor. The curtain in the bedroom was stained. These are mostly really small but simple things to fix that would make a big difference.

Close to queens gate I liked the location and the breakfast tea was excellent

Didn't like: I didn’t like the space of the room it was a bit dusty and dirty and it was the smallest room I ever have stayed in my life so cramped. Didn’t like the stairs on the way down that took up extra room we already didn’t have

Average stay, goood location. The main public area downstairs was nice. Breakfast was decent.

Didn't like: The rooms were tired and small. My first room smelled of damp, as did the entire top floor. There was a leak in the ceiling that had obviously been there for a long time due to the wet stained carpet with a bucket collecting the drips.

Wonderful Stay – Exceeded Our Expectations! We had a fantastic stay at the Grand Royale Hyde Park Hotel! Everything exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was absolutely excellent, with a delicious, generous, and varied selection to suit every taste. The location is perfect – within walking distance of many of London's main attractions, very close to the Underground, and extremely easy to reach from Heathrow Airport. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. We truly enjoyed our time here and couldn't have asked for a better experience in London. Highly recommended! We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to London!

Pleasant stay Location and pleasant restaurant

Didn't like: Bedroom was small for the price and en suite was cramped

The location was very convenient.Room was clean and breakfast was very good.The building is beautiful.

Didn't like: I was unable to access the shower as there was not enough room for me to get over the side of the bath.Room 416 is no good for anyone with mobility problems.

Didn't like: Booked two rooms as a family but on different floors

Out of 3 trips to London, i rate this as the best The hotel is clean and very good location. Our room was on the 6th floor so we didnt face any problems, because the elevator goes upto the 7th floor, if you are on the 8th floor you will have to use the stairs from the 7th to 8th floor. The room was newly rennovated, so overall it was a comfortable stay.

Didn't like: I booked the hotel because it said it has air conditioning, on the mid of my stay, I walked into the room and the air conditioner switched from cooling to heating and we didnt ask for that. The answer from staf was “this is an old property and if we switch it to heating we can only do it for the whole property”. They gave us a fan but it was not doing any good. However, they managed to reimburse us and provide us a room in another hotel, but we refused to move and they brought back the cooling on the next day.
