second visit was a disappointment friendly people: staff and guests
Didn't like: Dirty room, lots of cockroaches, belongings (even leftovers) from previous guests hanging everywhere—from the bathroom through the sleeping area and out on the balcony

Amazing people, lots of activities, close to the beach. I stayed here for 3 days then went elsewhere, and then I came right back. Can’t beat the value and the friendliness

Great location and breakfast Great budget option in the heart of Waikiki. Bunk beds are standard. Awesome pancakes and coffee for breakfast.
Didn't like: No elevators, so haul your luggage if you have it. They clean the dorms once a day, so it's well maintained for the most part.

Didn't like: This ks the filthies place i had ever stayed, the fans had so much dust collected. The floors were constantly dirty, there was a pile.of dirty sheets from a previous guest left on the floor that took 4 days to get picked up. The place has a roach infestation. I think the cleaners only swap out the shower mat daily and call it a days work. Even by hostel standards, the beds were incredibly uncomfortable and the bunks were squeking away all night and you can feel every spring.
