Mid hotel stay, functional for a short trip Great location near everything in Waikiki. They provide beach towels and even a chair. Water bottle refill stations on first floor. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
Didn't like: Air conditioning technically worked, but wasn’t very strong. Small ants in our 4th floor room, not a ton but noticeable. It’s great that they provide breakfast, but the quality wasn’t there (typical sad buffet eggs and pancakes). Luggage storage for before/after your visit is available, but it’s out in the open in the lobby and they just run a cable through your bags to lock them together—we did not feel comfortable leaving our bags there, as anyone could walk up and unzip a backpack!

Location of hotel and the heated toilet seat. Plus a shout out to an excellent housekeeper who’s name was Julie who couldn’t do enough for our stay!

2 minute walk to the beach had free beach chairs and towels to use near a lot of restaurants and a bus stop

Top Location, big rooms, everything clean.
Didn't like: Breakfast was typically American with too much unhealthy food. We decided to eat bananas from ABC store instead.

Don’t book through booking.com. They charge one price but once you get to the hotel you’ll be charged an additional sum

Didn't like: No issues

Standards are low, don’t expect the usual Hyatt standards It’s close to the beach, it has ocean view, it was clean
Didn't like: It doesn’t have an indoor restaurant, or a real restaurant for matter of fact. The breakfast is set next to the pool, and when is a storm or rains, they set the breakfast at the reception. They brag about the breakfast, but actually is very poor. The hotel has 19 floors, 10 rooms/ floor and only 2 elevators, sometimes you need to wait even 10 minutes to get in the elevator. Usually there is waiting line to use the elevators, sometimes one of them doesn’t work. The pool is very small, they don’t have chairs for the pool and you need to get your towel from the reception, then go to the 3rd pool where the pool is. But let’s say you don’t need the pool because the beach is close and the ocean is way better than a pool. Don’t expect the Hyatt standards.
