Its nice but don't expect too much effort from anyone. That it has multiple options for food and pools. Great entertainment.
Didn't like: I didn't like that the main kids pool in the family club area was under construction and this wasn't indicated when booking. Also it was my birthday weekend and I stayed that upon arrival, I didn't expect too much but I didn't get any special treatment. I kindly asked twice at the frontdesk of the family club for my room to be decorated when cleaning and they didn't do it on my birthday. I got it the day after. The same at the buffet I expected at least singing from the staff but nothing while the day after they sang for at least 3 people. I even had a reservation at the restaurant the evening of my birthday and I asked the hostess if when they bring the dessert they can do something special, she said that if I wanted cake I had to buy it at the front desk and they will arrange further. I said no thank you. Because it didn't had to be too mich effort or additional money. The food at the kapanese restaurant was salty. Overall the staff is friendly but you can feel they are doing things forced and not genuine. Also for the tip ofcpurse. The location is large so it is a hassle to get from the family club to the other areas. But entertaining the kods is good.

Princess family Bahia The facilities were okay but the food was boring, meat was tough. They need to go more european rather than catering for the Americans. One main restaurant but couldnt book any of the others due to the short break we booked but judging the occupancy of the others i sensed their booking sytem was off. The children loved the small water park.
Didn't like: Locked out of our room on the last day at12 thought the 14:30 checkout was too generous.

Not sure if its worth the price In general we had a great time, the hotel has awesome pools and the water park was a major hit with my daughter. The cleaning staff was very friendly, only having the issue described below, every day afterwards they would clean it before we came back from our activities. Hibachi restaurant was awesome, with a benihanas-like experience that we all enjoyed, and the food was good. The staff are all exceptional, very friendly and always willing to improve your experience, with the exception of course with the rude rep mentioned below of course.
Didn't like: There was, however, a couple of details that made the experience a bit uncomfortable. The day we got into our room, there was a small cockroach in our hotel room, right where the fridge and the coffee station were stored (inside a cupboard). As someone who is highly afraid of cockroaches and easily disgusted by them, I could not sleep properly knowing that they were there. As a Mexican, mama always said: "small roaches means filth, and its not just one. That's a roach problem." There was also the fact that we had to ask multiple times for them to come and clean the room, even after putting the sign out on the door that lets housekeeping know that we would like the room to be cleaned. We had to ask four times, with them finally coming in to clean it around six PM, when we were getting ready to head out for dinner. I should point out that when we came back from dinner the room was clean. We had asked for late checkout, calling and confirming a day before our checkout date and once more in the early morning of our checkout. They still came and tried to kick us out at 12pm, stating that the new family was at reception waiting on us. When we advised them of our late checkout, the hotel representative was very rude and going on about a fee for late checkout ( we had assumed this would be the case and had no issue whatsoever paying it) even though they never advised us of any late checkout fee. The food at the buffet was... an understatement, and that's all I will say about that. Although the restaurants certainly did go up in quality. They cut our water off for an entire day, which made it very uncomfortable since we had to use the bathroom and there was no water to flush, not to mention that we could not take a shower to head out for dinner. When we called and asked them the issue they had no response for us.

Would not stay here again in the future The water park for the kids was nice. Same as the pools. The rooms in the family club area were spacious. Staff for the most part was rude. Men treated guests better than the women treated the guests for sure. The ladies that did the room service did a great job too.
Didn't like: The food was ok to bad. We had to wait long hours at the two restaurants we had reservations to get our order. We waited an hour and a half at both places to get the food. The main buffet was hard to find a table and when they had empty tables they were dirty and the staff did not want to put the effort to clean it for you. We traveled for a birthday/summer vacation and unfortunately did not meet our expectations. Sad to say that the best food we ate we had to pay for it and we had to cross the street to eat at the restaurant that is nearby the resort.

You get what you pay for and it’s definitely a “budget” resort Pros: 1. Immaculate resort. They keep this place spotless. Every part of the grounds are well kept up and it’s even more beautiful in person. 2. I keep seeing night life here at the resort is boring. For us, we found that not to be the case. They had many dance parties of all different genres. Obviously lots of Spanish songs we didn’t recognize, but never once affected us having a blast. 3. Kids club/family side was great. Loved the convenience of having a smaller buffet for kids and having a kids only area on the beach. 4. Dinner was always delicious. Our favorite restaurant was II Tartufo. Wasabi poke bowls were great along with the sushi! Tanuki was a very fun interactive dinner. Focaccia was an easy pizza/pasta dinner restaurant. 5. Beach was beautiful. Obviously it’s summer time and seaweed is an issue wherever you go. We frequently go to the gulf (Panama city) since we have a family beach house there and it’s always going to be an issue with seaweed during the summer. However, they did a wonderful job trying to clean it up when possible. Obviously they couldn’t prevent it, but they did a great job on moving it elsewhere.
Didn't like: Cons: 1. AC is non existent here. We swapped rooms our first night. We didn’t even open the back door and came back to an extremely hot room. We had to beg for a dehumidifier the next day and my husband had to take an uber to town to get a fan to keep our room clean. There’s no air circulation in any of the restaurants. It’s hot and stagnant air to which makes a very uncomfortable dinner unless sitting outside. We are from Alabama so humidity is not new to us. 2. Dinner was delicious, but breakfast and lunch were terrible. Family buffet was easier to manage, but I’d hate to have to survive off the main buffet. It was a complete mad house the one day we tried to eat in there and the food was very unappealing. Lunch was not much better whether it was on the beach from the food truck, the outdoor buffet, or the main buffet. 3. Rude staff. We’ve been to Hyatt Zilara where their staff are INCREDIBLE and maybe we just have extremely high expectations, but the staff here are not friendly. Majority of the time we felt singled out bc we don’t “look” the type who speak Spanish. On one occasion at Cappucino we attempted to order something off the menu to which the waitress said “we don’t have that” and proceeded to speak derogatory about us in Spanish. Very tacky! We watched many people who were waited on in outdoor bar areas with smiles and kindness, while we were completely ignored. This even happened in the family area at breakfast.
