Great fun hotel The beds are comfortable and the rooms have everything you need but what makes this hotel are the public areas - the bar, the restaurant and the rooftop bar with special views of the Empire State Building. The location scores highly too!

Didn't like: Cleaned the room every second day, problem was the bedsheets came undone after one night. Room was super tiny, if you travel with a checked in bag, you can't even leave it open. No proper management, who is walking into the hotel, at one night someone tried to enter our room, not violently, but was still super loud as he tried 2 times to open the door. Rooftop was overcrowded My 4th time in NYC and 3rd time near times square, for this price you find better hotels with better rooms

Check in was unusual. Clerk couldn’t find me in the system even though I stay here all the time. She asked if I was a Ma Close proximity to the theater district

Friendly & Efficient Really great staff, very friendly and welcoming. Great morning coffee/breakfast service. We were pleasantly surprised that we had $20 credit to use in the cafe in the morning, and the first floor lounge was a comfortable place to enjoy our breakfast. Nice youthful interior design, the hooks along the entire wall are very practical for a small room. Great water pressure in the shower. Location is good if you are happy stepping straight into the hussel & bussel.
Didn't like: We booked a Queen Room and everything this was as we expected however there was only one small window with a view to an alley/brick wall. This is represented in one of the photos, so I can't say we didn't get what was advertised, however it was a bit disappointing. That said, its possible if we asked to change rooms, they may have accommodated.
