But experience Was a very bad experience, no soap in the bathroom , the mini fridge wasn’t working, no cold water in the bathroom I reported but no body take in care, the staff very rude people !!!

Bad check-in, terrible check-out, and mediocre in between The beach and pools. Karina at Sports Bar was the highlight of our stay and something we would look forward to every night

Didn't like: Everything else. Poor service, mediocre food and outdated rooms. Check in staff was friendly until we refused a room upgrade. We had a leak in our room and after chasing the hotel staff for over an hour, we were refused to get a new room and the leak was eventually fixed. After leaving a Google review (because complaining to the front desk or through booking.com app had no effect), we were offered a complimentary couple's massage as compensation for the leak inconvenience but we were asked to pay for it upon checkout. Front desk staff at checkout didn't seem to know how to do anything and we had to leave with no receipt of our expenses otherwise we would be late for our flight. Room is outdated with clear maintenance issues (dresser doors won't shut fully, blankets and towels are old and rough, countless pillows but far from being decent). Drinks lack consistency, food at a la carte restaurants are mediocre and often lack basic dishes/ingredients (eg. Fish market and Indian restaurants didn't have shrimp, Japanese/Peruvian restaurant only had 1 of the 3 welcome drink options). Most restaurants are quite uncomfortable (booth seat cushions at the aquarium sink in when you sit, back cushions at the Brazilian stake house keep falling on you, and the knife at most restaurants, including the aquarium, seem to be for decorative purposes only - to make it clear, it will cut good, but good luck figuring out how to hold that on your hand). When we thought we couldn't be surprised by anything else, on our last night we notice a huge chunk of meat on the floor next to our table at the Brazilian Steakhouse; Well, these things happen, I guess, and this wouldn't be a problem if it didn't stay there the whole dinner duration (1.5h)...too bad I had an early flight to catch the next day and couldn't make it back there the next morning to check if it was still there (but I'm hoping the cats had a feast!

Live performances each night, staff was very helpful and welcoming, and food was good

Many of the staff were outstanding. Food was very good. Poolside activities were a lot of fun and definitely entertaining.

Didn't like: There were a handful of staff that were definitely sub par. The app is terrible and what activities that are going on throughout all the included resorts was not clear at all that app only showed the aquamarine activities yet there where multiple other resorts and common areas that had activities but there seemed to be no way to find out what and when these activities where.Due to some upgrading construction (necessary evil) so things were moved around but map, signage, etc. did not show this so where certain things like restaurants actually were, was very confusing.

June 2026 Special Celebration Stay We stayed at the Bahia Principe in June 2026 for a special celebration. The overall experience was mixed with positives and dissatisfaction. Positives: Personnel overall are friendly and customer-focused; the gardens are beautiful and well kept. However, we were dissatisfied on the following: rooms are incredibly outdated, rusted bathrooms and 5 of our rooms had AC issues; the music in the pools and bars is low quality and you can barely appreciate it; the nightclub is NOT included in your stay and incredibly expensive; the food quality is OK but not to the standards of an All-inclusive; when the buffet is closed, on multiple occasions the snack bar/grill area by the pools only offered chips and salsa/no personnel available for support; check in process is complex, they should consider an express check in line; and lastly the entertainment around the pool needs more structure and pool hours should be extended. It gets pretty boring to be around at times.

I had a lovely time and will be returning ! Great location, friendly staff, food was good, and service was great.
