Reviews
Review highlights
- Cleanliness6.8/10
- Multiple guests mention unpleasant smells, mold in a fridge and lower-than-expected cleanliness; cleanliness is a clear negative in several reviews.
- Service9.4/10
- Many reviewers praise friendly, professional and helpful staff (including specific praise for reception and pet arrangements), so service is strongly positive.
- Location9.6/10
- Repeatedly described as unbeatable/ideal — near Luxembourg Gardens, Cluny Museum, Notre Dame and well connected — location is one of the hotel's strongest points.
- Room Quality6.5/10
- Frequent complaints about small rooms, outdated or smelly furniture, thin walls, bathtub-only bathrooms and need for renovation reduce room-quality scores.
- Amenities7.8/10
- Breakfast and lobby/dining areas are praised, and pet arrangements noted, but issues such as tiny elevators, missing toiletries and occasional mold lower this score.
- Value for Money6.6/10
- Several guests felt the price was high for the amenities offered and room condition, leading to below-target value-for-money sentiment.
- Food and Beverage9.8/10
- Breakfast is frequently described as excellent/amazing with good selection (tea variety noted), making F&B a clear positive.

Lovely location but smelly room. Pet Friendly. The location was very good - near the Luxembourg Gardens, steps from the Cluny Museum, short walk to Notre Dame. The set up for my dog was excellent and staff was friendly.
Didn't like: The bathroom and room smelled awful and the air conditioner dripped on me whenever I sat on the toilet.

Unbeatable location Wonderful breakfast, warm reception service, and an unbeatable location.
Didn't like: The only downside is that the walls are a bit thin, so you can hear noise from neighboring rooms—though this seems typical for buildings in this area

Decent stay in Paris Room with an eiffel tower view on 5th floor Nice staff Good breakfast and a nice selection of teas Amazing location, walking distance from everything you need (best thing about the hotel tbh) Great cardio on the stairs from breakfast room to 5th floor :)
Didn't like: Outdated smelly furniture, some call it vintage some call it charming. I call it old. Bathroom in need of an urgent renovation, bathtub instead of shower Would expect more choices of eggs at brekkie such as fried eggs and omlettes The smallest elevator in the world, avoided it after first try ( but im claustrophobic ) Too expensive for the amenities offered

Lovely hotel in a fabulous location. Felt very safe also! Location was fantastic, the breakfast amazing, very clean and friendly staff, beds comfortable
Didn't like: Tiny elevator and rooms were a bit small but adequate

Conveniently located. Nice lobby and dining area. Mostly child friendly. Beautiful exterior architecture.
Didn't like: The room and elevator were extremely small. There was mold in our refrigerator that we had to ask the staff to clean. Walls are thin so I could hear every sound in the rooms around us.

Satisfactory, however did not meet expectations The location
Didn't like: The size of the rooms and level of cleanliness.

Location was excellent and staff were always courteous and helpful.
Didn't like: The fact that there wasn’t an actual hotel bar.

A perfect place to stay in Paris, spacious & clean rooms and helpful staff This hotel is in a great location, and a safe area, quiet at night, walking distance to all the main attractions. Room was very clean and spacious, staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and generous. There are lots of restaurants on the doorstep for lunch and dinner meals. We highly recommend this boutique hotel for it's location, historic charm, and friendly staff. There is an elevator and also stairs.
Didn't like: The interior design of the room could be updated, the wallpaper is a little tired, but we are glad the hotel maintains its charm and history. The bed pillows could be better quality, or maybe offer a pillow menu, which includes option of feather pillows for those that prefer a softer pillow

Location. Breakfast good, with attentive staff.
Didn't like: Very poor value for money. €700 per night for a small room, accessible by a tiny lift. Minimal communal areas. Don’t know how it has so many stars.
