Excellent location
Didn't like: The double room is tiny. Felt more like an economy stay for not inexpensive. Very basic breakfast

Quirky and a great base! Staff were excellent. Easy access to metro and all train stations. Room was clean and great value.
Didn't like: The lift broke a couple of times but had it back and working not long auger

Good breakfast
Didn't like: Very grumpy breakfast staff. Hard bed and lumpy pillows. Also some lovely dogs in reception that were tied up all the time. No comfort, hard beds or stone steps. They looked so sad and desperate, it was very uncomfortable to just walk past them every day.

We stayed in many hotels during our holiday but this one will always be fondly remembered. The staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the dogs. I loved the quirkyness of the hotel.
Didn't like: The ensuite was very cramped but I realise they did the best they could. It could do with a refurbish.

Average hotel in 3rd Arr. Great shower without bath tub to climb into, Renovated bathroom, although small, Stored our bags for 2 hours, Close to Metro, 15 mins to Louvre, 30 mins to La Tour Eiffel by Metro
Didn't like: Strict 4 pm check in (usually 3 pm at most French hotels in our four weeks experience), No changes, cancellations or refunds and must be prepaid up front, Sliding scale of charges to be let into room early, even though room was ready, Room was spartan, small and lacked coziness, Desk reception guy didn’t get off his chair or offer services or help - lacking service culture In high vehicle traffic area although hotel in slightly quieter street, Couldn’t find any charming streets supposed to be in the Marais

Marvellous!!! Everyone was so friendly, nothing was a problem. The breakfast was beautiful and set us up for exploring the city each day. We loved the dogs and couldn't resist a cuddle whenever we saw them! The building itself had so much character. My daughter and I loved our time there. We were looked after so well, thank you!
Didn't like: Leaving!
