Hotel Edison Times Square

Good service, close to main attractions in the city, fast elevators.

Didn't like: Very very noisy. Constructions near the hotel 24 hours a day. Couldn't sleep at all. Smoking porch right beneath the room. Grab and go Breakfast is terrible.

The hotel is in a great location and overall everything was good. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was decent, but nothing special. One important thing: if your room faces the main entrance, be prepared for construction noise throughout the night, which makes it very difficult to sleep. I strongly recommend requesting a room facing the interior courtyard instead.

Wouldn’t recommend this hotel Location

Didn't like: The information provided at check-in was non existent even using the QR code in the room the information was difficult to navigate and just went in circles. The room was shabby and run down, wallpaper peeling and the sheets and towels were threadbare. No tea and coffee making were provided until asked for twice. The included breakfast is horrible, the grab and go much worse than the sit down food. We feel like the room was given a quick tidy and not really cleaned each day. Was hot in NYC and we asked for a top sheet as the provided comforter was way too hot. Again had to ask twice and then they were removed the next day so we had to ask again. This time we hid them so they wouldn’t be removed.

Great hotel Great location, friendly staff, big rooms, good breakfast options with the grab and go, key card checks for safety purposes 10/10!

Didn't like: Room was not like in the pictures on Booking. Floors were obviously dirty.

Honestly, would not stay here again The location is very convenient if you wanna be in the middle of all the Broadway and time square hecticness. If not either way all other attractions are very walkable from the hotel. It has its own restaurant bond 45, which is highly convenient.

Didn't like: First night my room literally did not have any AC. I made the hotel persona el aware and they said they were sending an engineer but this never happened. The next day I had to go to the front desk and once again complain about this and also the room I was given which very clearly differed what I had booked in both size and appearance. Jenny was very kind to offer to change me when someone checked out by the truth is I was only there for 2 nights and I refused the hassle. She did fix the ac problem for my second night. I stayed in the hotel back in 2018 and it had a much better feel. It doesn't seem like any remodellations or improvements have been done at all during all this time. The ACs are absolutely dated and loud.

Didn't like: Cleanliness is questionable. Too expensive for what you get.

It was much like staying in a low end hotel near the airport. I will not stay here again. The location was good.

Didn't like: The lobby was loud and chaotic nearly all the time. The staff were largely unhelpful, and the elevator security guards were incredibly rude. The bathroom was very small, the shower had hair in it and the grout / tile didn’t look clean, and there were toe nail clippings prom a previous guest all over the carpet. The poorly insulated walls meant I could hear other guests using their bathrooms, snoring, and talking in their rooms.
