Good location in Waikiki, good staff, old rooms with problems. The staff was nice.
Didn't like: The rooms were very old and not very clean. The air conditioning system leaked all over the table in the room and I had to shut it off. The chair in the room was stained. I would not stay again.

Everything in Hawaii is expensive and designed to take your tourist dollars, except bus service. Staff is very helpful, and go out of their way to assist and answer any questions about area and things to do, eat and shop.

Didn't like: What i did not like is that i checked in early in the morning. I was told to do early check in. That should be mentioned during our booking.

Location was great.
Didn't like: Bathroom so small can’t open door if bath mat down. Carpet needs replacing throughout the property . Coffee only in lobby and one pot at a time for all guests. Could have set it up elsewhere and another pot since always a line. Had to change room since small ants in bed and side table. No apologies re the inconvenience.

Nice hotel. Great staff. Victor and Manny are always welcoming. We stay at this hotel about 3x a year. Proximity to Waikiki is very convenient.
Didn't like: Parking charge is too much. I’m guessing that’s what everyone charges.

My stay was very comfortable and stress free! I love everything about Waikiki Malia! Friday afternoon we got to make a lei and have ice cream for free! The staff is super kinda and always willing to help. It’s very clean and the location is near everything!

Nice hotel, but the extremely tight $45-a-day parking made our trip very stressful Overall, the hotel was nice. The location was convenient, and we enjoyed our stay and the property.
Didn't like: The biggest problem was the parking structure. We paid $45 per day for parking, but the space was extremely tight and difficult to drive through. While driving down, our rental car scraped against the wall and ended up with a lot of scratches and scrapes. This caused us a lot of stress because we had to deal with a police report, the rental car company, and insurance companies during our vacation. For $45 a day, I expected a much better parking experience. If you have a rental car or a larger vehicle, please be very careful.
