Review highlights
- Cleanliness9.0/10
- Generally praised — multiple reviews note tidy, well-cleaned rooms and specific staff keeping rooms clean, though one detailed review mentioned old/smelly bathrooms.
- Service8.3/10
- Mixed sentiment: several reports of poor or rushed/front-desk interactions and unhelpful activity staff, but also standout positive service mentions (e.g., outstanding customer service, praise for Arlene and AC).
- Location9.8/10
- Consistently lauded: prime Waikiki location, direct beach access, proximity to restaurants and shops, and frequent praise for room views (Diamond Head).
- Room Quality9.0/10
- Rooms frequently praised for stunning views and good layouts (corner suites), though a few guests reported dated bathrooms or fixtures in some rooms.
- Amenities8.4/10
- Positive aspects include pools, direct beach access, lei/ukulele activities and plentiful on-site shops; negatives include limited/wonky activity hut service, early-reserved pool chairs, no on-site spa for some guests and restricted pool hours.
- Value for Money7.4/10
- Mixed-to-negative: multiple guests felt the property was overpriced or that they 'paid for the view,' offset by guests who felt satisfied overall.
- Food and Beverage7.3/10
- Several mentions of limited menu options, long waits (e.g., 40 minutes for pool orders) and only one main restaurant; some food/service described as fair but not exceptional.

Hotel facilities, closeness to the beach are unbeatable. Very convenient stay if you want to explore Waikiki alone and go to the beach
Didn't like: Wifi speed and connectivity are not good

I loved the location, the view of Diamond head, and the staff were so friendly. We had the best house keeper from any hotel we’ve ever stayed. We were on the 23 floor. She was a gem.

VERY disappointing Location
Didn't like: This hotel is now a 2-3 star property!! The whole hotel is in need of a total renovation. The rooms are small & have the vanity unit outside the bathroom which is plain stupid. The AC unit is NERY noisy, the sliding door to the balcony you had to struggle to open it & the lighting was poor. The pool area is a disgrace! Towels that must be 10 years old, nowhere near enough umbrellas, mosaic pool tiles that haven't been replaced & staff with a "couldn't care less attitude" Give this hotel a WIDE berth!!

Outstanding views with excellent service Stunning gorgeous ocean and diamondhead views from the balcony. Superb location, everything is closeby, dining, shops, etc. A very lively location.
Didn't like: The checking process, with 12-15 travellers, long waiting in line,, if you are behind 12 people. and 2 or 3 receptionist to check in. Each taking 5-7 minutes. The reception counters are quite dated, which is the first impression!!

Nice hotel but not very relaxing Excellent location. Modern and clean hotel. Pool areas fantastic.
Didn't like: Check in was a nightmare. Very crowded and busy everywhere all the time. Struggled to get on elevators at peak times. The room was nothing special for the money we paid. No proper shower in our room.

We have been staying at this beautiful resort for the past 6 years and love it. However, during our recent 7-night stay, Beautiful resort
Didn't like: We have been staying at this beautiful resort for the past 6 years and love it. However, during our recent 7-night stay, we had one very disappointing experience. After driving around the island all day on the evening of August 20th, upon arriving, we wanted to briefly stop at the turnaround to drop our belongings in our room before returning our rental car. Valet told us we couldn't stop even for a few minutes and had to use the $8/hour parking garage. The manager, Cassy, also refused to make an exception. When I said this lack of flexibility would make me reconsider returning for all future stays, she shrugged and said she didn't care. She rather make $8 from parking and miss out on the future years of earning. Sad to see such rigid service over an $8 fee for a loyal, exhausted guest.

Luxurious stay in suite with Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head balcony views I was upgraded to a suite that was very very far from the elevators, but was extremely nice. Bellman helped me move things from our event to the suite and then to my car. Enjoyed the suite immensely.
Didn't like: The suite was very far from the elevators and at times the elevators were very crowded. It was also difficult to hear the elevator bell on the 2nd floor. The scale in the suite did not work, but everything else there was very nice. Also the tv did not have the HGTV or Cooking channel, which I like, but this was not serious. The carpet was a little worn and the extension phone in the living room was not functional, but everything else was really great!

Great Hotel and great location - made for a perfect family Hawaii holiday. We had a suite with interconnecting rooms. The room was fantastic. Very spacious and the views over Diamond Head were amazing. Great location right in the heart of all the Waikiki action.

Hawaii in this property were better than I expected. Will be back soon. The view was amazing the infinity pool having ice cream on site
Didn't like: Free breakfast would’ve been really nice
