Hotel and staff are great. I really liked this hotel, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the hotel is modern, the bed was comfortable. Everything was new and clean. I had a drink and a meal at the bar one night and it was tasty and good value.

Didn't like: The location is dicey. This is not the hotel's fault, it is a disgrace what has been allowed to happen in some cities. And it's such a shame because there are some beautiful character buildings in this historic area. I only walked around the hotel during the day, i relied on ubers to get further out but was fine walking around nearby. But you're walking past a lot of suspect people who are not in their right mind, so you need to be aware. Great hotel though.

A really cool place to stay in Downtown LA! absolutely loved my stay at citizenM Los Angeles Downtown! From the moment I walked in, it had such a funky, modern and fun vibe. It definitely felt different from your typical hotel, in the best possible way. The design throughout the hotel is so cool and quirky, with lots of personality. The common areas were especially great — stylish, comfortable and perfect for relaxing after a busy day exploring LA. The room was compact but really well designed, and I loved how everything was controlled from the tablet. The bed was super comfortable, which was exactly what I needed!

Very good hotel and worth the price. I do wish parking was included. However was an outstanding hotel overall.
