TownePlace Suites by Marriott New York Manhattan/Chelsea

Would recommend this hotel for location above all else it was perfect! The location was amazing - so convenient for subway and walking distance to most of the places we visited. Being in the flower market was a huge bonus too! Beautiful!

Didn't like: As with lots of NYC hotels there was very little storage - overall though for the time you are in the room it didn’t matter - I would stay here again!

Nice, comfortable room in a great location The location was excellent! It was very easy to get places and right down the road from the 28th st subway

Didn't like: The elevators were very crowded at peak times with there were more than four.

I wouldn’t stay at a Marriott again. We raised our concerns with the hotel and the response was that this was a third pa Great location

Didn't like: Very expensive for an extremely small room Very noisy (all rooms were next to a lift)

Didn't like: Even though the do not disturb was on the door, an employee opened the door and upon seeing me left without a word.

Really good value for money Location, comfortable bed

Didn't like: Aircondition was really noisy but fortunately not needed during the night - window could be opened a bit for fresh air.

Free Breakfast varieties, clean gym space and friendly housekeeping and concierge. Great and safe location

Didn't like: The top aircon plate of the ceiling fell off and luckily just missed it by the inch. The manager did not even say anything. They just repaired it and gave an extended hour of late checkout

Loud The one genuinely positive thing I can say is that the staff was extremely kind and accommodating. They were very understanding when we explained the situation, allowed us to check out early without any issues, and refunded us for the remainder of our stay. I really appreciated how helpful and professional they were.

Didn't like: The biggest issue was the noise\. There is a voltage/electrical room on each floor, and our room was constantly vibrating and shaking from what sounded like electrical equipment or wiring throughout the entire night\. There are also several elevators located right next to the guest rooms, so the setup itself is already very noisy, but we honestly could barely even hear the elevators over the constant humming, vibrating, and shaking coming from the electrical room The room was simply not comfortable or suitable for sleeping\. We did not sleep at all that night and ended up checking out around 5 AM after our first night so we could move to a different hotel.

Not enjoyable. Location

Didn't like: The floor was covered in toenails and never got cleaned. All the dishes were dirty and I had to wash them to begin with. So many bugs like flies mosquitoes and spiders. I had to argue with the front desk about our room not having a safe and they said I did. They eventually brought a safe to the room. The sheets were dirty and was told they weren’t able to change them. And only 3 outlets worked in the room. We had to take turns charging things. No one wanted to help or fix anything.

Great stay for MSG Great location, staff was amazing, loved our terrace!!

Didn't like: Water pressure

My stay was perfect and I will recommend to other travelers I enjoyed the breakfast because there were lots of breakfast choices, also the staff during breakfast were on the ground to assist at all times. I could leave my luggage and pick it up for my later flight after checking out in the morning It was very helpful. Staff response when l needed an assist in my room was quick. In fact, everything about the hotel was enjoyable by me. The bed was comfy and housekeeping was done everyday which included a change of towels. All staff in the reception area were very friendly and helpful but Christopher was exceptional.

Didn't like: The bathroom was small, so water poured on the floor when having a bath, but small space is a NY thing which did not really border me
