Nice hotel with great access to the area, but probably wouldnt book again for a long-term stay Its location in downtown chicago was the main reason this location was booked. And compared to other places near by, the prices were really good

Didn't like: The bed was too firm and too low to the ground, the room was too small for 2 people (booked a private room) and was freezing as the ac couldnt be controlled nor turned off.

Horrible hotel and rude staff. The only good thing is location Nothing !!!!!

Didn't like: Ugly room, updated hotel , uncomfortable beds, no facilities and unhelpful staff….

Worst hotel experience I've had Location

Didn't like: Worst hotel experience I've had. The room was humid and smelled of mold, the bathroom was dirty with mold growing on the shower curtain, the towels and curtains were filthy, the carpet was destroyed, and several lights didn't work. I asked for housekeeping and for the lights to be repaired. Nobody came. No call back, no explanation, nothing. At this price point in Chicago you have plenty of better options. Take one of them.

Great location, small room Great location, close to the lake, magnificent mile, restaurants, etc. We walked everywhere! The bathroom looked renovated.

Didn't like: The room was small.

Worked for a quick mother/daughter getaway. This was a more affordable option with historic charm. Food and the drink I had from the bar were good. Fun crowd with a variety of visitors.

Didn't like: Bar was extremely loud. We had to move to another area because the three people at the bar were so loud and the room probably needs some acoustic help to soften the echo.

Would not recommend if you’re sensitive to smell

Didn't like: There was an unpleasant smell in the room and the elevator. Somewhat reminded me of damp sweaty clothes. It didn’t feel clean and it felt like the dirt and smell was soaked in the carpet. I would say that the hotel has potential and could use a bit more thoughtfulness, like adding a little bar or hooks on the wall near the sink for hand towels. The staff at the reception were a bit rude and unbothered. Definitely not a pleasant and welcoming interaction. However, we met a couple of other staff members and they were nice.

Ok for a night. Location was definitely the best thing. WiFi was also ok.

Didn't like: Staff at night charged me for something they shouldn’t have, very sneaky. If I wouldn’t have checked my bank account I’d have missed it. Bathroom curtain was dirty, with mold. Carpets were also dirty and stained. Room maintenance could be improved.

Confortable Check in was fast and easy

Excellent location with reduced quality of lifestyle Expected breakfast is covered but it is not! Room cleaning is by request! No room cleaning at all if not requested! The room and facilities are quite different from the photos on the website! Room is tinny!

Didn't like: Without accommodation (breakfast ) and room was not learned without requested!

Didn't like: I had to move rooms two times due to a leak/water all over the bathroom floor, not only in the first room but also the second room. Luckily the third room was dry…
