- Multiple reviewers explicitly called the property clean and luxurious, though one stay reported a ceiling leak that flooded the kitchen and affected the room's condition.
- Service9.5/10
- Staff were praised for responsiveness (repaired leak promptly) and service at pool/spa, but there are notable negative reports about deceptive or slow check-in procedures that lowered perceptions.
- Location10.0/10
- Beachfront location and proximity to good local restaurants were noted (beach, nearby Mexican restaurant); location is described very positively.

- Rooms are described as beautiful and luxurious by some guests, but issues were reported (ceiling leak/flooding, and a booking mismatch where a kitchen was expected but not available).
- Amenities10.0/10
- Amenities received strong praise: pools (including adult pool), spa, and daily activities were highlighted and exceeded expectations for several reviewers.
- Value for Money7.8/10
- Multiple complaints about being way overpriced, charges for water, expensive drinks (e.g., $24 Chardonnay) and food at high prices reduced the value perception.
- Food and Beverage8.5/10
- Food was described as 'just ok' and pricey by a reviewer; drink prices were singled out as high and guests recommended alternative local dining across the street.

The spa experience left us feeling ripped off. Location was perfect , Accomodation was fantastic.
Didn't like: The spa where we had a massage was exorbitantly expensive. I would not recommend the property just because if this, we were not told the price before, and once presented the bill were not in a position to query it. It was 10x more expensive than anywhere else.

The place is lovely but the staff not as much. The property is beautiful and clean
Didn't like: The staff at the reception. We were received by a lady named Andrea. She had an attitude throughout. My partner wanted to make a contactless payment and she snobbishly responds “ We don’t do that here”. We didn’t understand their process as they required things we didn’t have to provide at the hotel we previously stayed at. She was unhelpful and rude. Don’t want to go into the depths of the difficulty we faced. Luckily we asked to speak to the manager. She was kind and helped us out in the end.

Cabo Azul Los Cabos Cabo Azul Los Cabos Resort is definitely eye catching, and you will not be disappointed as you explore the property. From the beautiful architecture and various pools to the plenty of beachfront cabanas where you can sit back and enjoy the sunrise or sunset, the resort has a lot to offer. The rooms are very spacious, well maintained, have great A/C, and offer some amazing views. One quick tip when stepping out onto your patio, make sure you close the sliding door behind you. Otherwise, you may end up with a few unexpected lizard visitors. My only real downfall with this resort was the restaurant. The food prices are extremely high. I ordered two tacos that cost $32, and unfortunately, they were brought to me cold. When I mentioned it to my waiter, he simply said, “Oh, sorry,” and walked away. For $32, I would at least expect the food to be hot or properly reheated. That experience was pretty disappointing. My recommendation would be to venture across the street. There are plenty of restaurants nearby offering better food, service, quality, and much more reasonable prices. Overall, Cabo Azul is a beautiful resort with spacious accommodations, great amenities, and incredible views. I just recommend taking your dining experience off the property if you want better value for your money.

Almost perfect This hotel is really great but for a couple of things that are important to me. The hotel is beautiful, great pool situation with swim up bar and really excellent food for a pool bar. The service is really great in the entire hotel in the location is perfect. The only things that was an issue and perhaps it’s personal to me is the bed and the pillow were extremely uncomfortable. My husband and I woke up every morning with stiff backs, and I personally had a stiff neck from the lumpy pillows. I recommend bringing your own pillow, and possibly requesting a pillow top if you have even a slight back issue. Also, the room service was very limited, and the food was not good. Not even remotely similar to the other food in the hotel. Thirdly, bring your own shampoo and conditioner, it is the absolute worst. Other than these three issues, I highly recommend the hotel and will most probably come back just knowing to work around these things.

Best family vacation with our 5 year old at this resort Such a beautiful property and the resort and rooms are beautiful and well kept. We are looking forward to coming back to this resort again. The best part of our stay was by far the kids club and overall staff experience. Our 5 year old loved the kids club so much he wanted to go back there every day. Shout out to Ricardo who runs the kids club who answered all our questions beforehand and Cesar, Lisset, Marianna, and Mario who entertained our 5 year old during our stay. Our son made various crafts in the kids club each day. Also the dedicated kids pool area with a slide was great and wonderful too. Kids are also allowed in the main pool area until 10pm closing time any day and it was great to have that available for a late night swim as a family too. Seems like alot of families were also enjoying the pool area up to 10pm each night. Note the kids club is an extra charge of around $15 an hour. Also liked the communication with the resort through text that was great for anything we needed like room cleaning to extra coffee for our room. Reviews mention the high cost of drinks and food and other costs on the property. This is true but we just went across the street where there are alot of restaurants and food and drink options if that is an issue for anyone.

Clean
Didn't like: Room ceiling leaked in the middle of the night in the kitchen and flooded. Staff came and repaired but now made the room look ugly.
